It has a gorgeous carved flamed maple 10- Top with a mahogany back and sides, and natural maple body binding. The 22 Semi-Hollow Ltd. has a 25"-scale length and a comfortable wide fat neck profile for exceptional playability. The 22-fret rosewood fingerboard is adorned with "old school" abalone bird inlays. Gold-plated hardware includes Phase II low-mass locking tuners and a PRS tremolo bridge. The PRS 22 Semi-Hollow Ltd. guitar is loaded with 1957/2008 pickups that allow players to achieve both vintage and modern sounds. These versatile pickups look as good as they sound with scuffed nickel covers and gold screws. PRS obtained the rights to the original pickup wire used in the most revered guitar pickups in the 50's in 2008, and 1957 was the year the humbucker was first commercially available, giving rise to the 1957/2008 name.
